One of my earlier watercolors, this whimsical purple caribou transports you to a place of clean, cold air and sweet-scented tundra sphagnum moss. I painted this electric-purple caribou in an attempt to share my continual sentiment, that what we perceive is often more beautiful, more vivacious, and more magical that what we can attempt to describe or photograph.
