Each of these tiny mushrooms is bestowed with a whimsical expression, delightfully capturing what I imagine each fungi would sport as its personality. This wild little piece was inspired by the remarkably diverse number of species you will encounter during a jaunt through the Alaskan rainforest, and expanded upon by joyfully fanciful conversations with a good friend of mine, who offered that the fungi kingdom has more magic to it than what initially meets the eye.
