Of the entire Chugach Range, Thompson Pass has captivated me in an especially humbling, soulful way. The original Thompson Pass painting was inspired by a particularly magical day spent skiing sparkling powder in amongst the towering peaks of the Pass with some of my closest friends. Hopefully you feel some of that magic when you look at this piece.
