The electrifying glow of the Aurora Borealis comes to life in this piece, which I painted after a magnificent wintery evening when the Aurora flared to life above the ship I was working on as it was anchored outside of Hoonah, Alaska last year. This piece will bring the vibrancy of Alaska to its new home, no matter how distant that is from the far north.
